Though the end of summer has indeed arrived in some regions, this is not the case in Cumbre del Sol Residential Resort. Thanks to the wonderful climate on the Costa Blanca, those who love diving can continue to enjoy steady sea temperatures and do the activity they love. The blue hues of the water, the seaweeds, the huge variety of fish, and the hidden caves make every dive an unforgettable experience.

One of the most visited caves is Cueva de los Arcos, located just metres from Cumbre del Sol Residential resort on Moraig Beach. This underwater route is suitable for divers of medium ability and provides the chance to admire the area’s characteristic sea bed: the play of light, rocky areas, and a huge cliff will help you discover this underwater wonder. An interesting feature is the low salinity of the water, the result of the fact that at this point the salty water joins fresh water from Río Blanc or Río del Moraig. The species you might see on the way are moray eels, wrasses, and even an octopus in this bright Posidonia Oceanica meadow.

If you would prefer to leave the oxygen tank behind and go snorkelling instead, head to Moraira, just a few kilometres from Cumbre del Sol Residential Resort. The relatively shallow depth means that you can do it using goggles, a snorkel, flippers, and wetsuit. You are sure to be surprised by the white sands dotted with Posidonia.

Are you looking for something of a more professional level? Then it’s time to head to Javea. Its 25 kilometres of coastline, with the variety of its sea beds and the rich diversity of flora and underwater species, make it a true paradise for scuba diving enthusiasts. Features worth highlighting include the algae in the Cabo de San Antonio Marine Reserve, the Posidonia Oceanica in Javea Bay, the soft sea beds in Calablanca, the photophilic algae in Granadella, and the Sciaphilic Algae in Portitxol.

We can also choose Altea and go underwater at Morro de Toix, which is characterised by the sunken islands and fauna such as lobsters, sea cicadas, meagre, moray eels, and conger eels.

You will find all these underwater routes and many more very close to Cumbre del Sol Residential Resort, where you’ll enjoy not just the summer but the whole year!
