Located on the Spanish Mediterranean, La Costa Blanca is part of the Autonomous Community of Valencia, the province of Alicante. The Autonomous Community of Valencia comprises the provinces of Alicante, Valencia and Castellón and, in turn, it is divided into different tourist names: Costa Blanca, Benidorm, Costa Azahar and Valencia.

La Costa Blanca is the tourist name for the area that stretches from Denia to Pilar de la Horadada and from Orihuela to the Valleys of Marina Alta. More than 219 km of coastline scattered with soft-sand and calm-water beaches as well as extraordinary coves and cliffs, with a very characteristic climate of an average temperate of approx. 18º C all year round.

A landscape dominated by the Mediterranean Sea which fills the coastline and the overhanging mountains with light and turquoise blue, revealing the wonders of the landscape. From the valleys cultivated with crops arranged in Moorish-style terraces to the horizons filled with mountains crowned by oaks, pine and carob trees and perfumed by a wide variety of aromatic plants, mountain and hiking enthusiasts are guaranteed well- indicated routes through the inland regions and the mountainous areas of the coast.

An area with history treasuring numerous archaeological sites, breathtaking monuments, artistic expressions, and more than one hundred medieval castles and fortresses that demarcate La Costa Blanca as living proof of the history and the different cultures that  inhabited this area and have enriched our culture.

On the coast and the inland areas of La Costa Blanca you will have the opportunity to discover the richness of our gastronomy in a wide choice of restaurants and the quality of the wines produced in our wineries. The staple Mediterranean diet (fish, vegetables, fruit, cereals and olive oil) has its main bastion in La Costa Blanca.

As part of La Costa Blanca, we can highlight internationally famous places like Denia, Javea, Teulada-Moraira, Benissa, Calpe, Altea, Poble Nou de Benitachell, Santa Pola, Guardamar, Torrevieja, without forgetting, Jalón, Alcalalí, Lliber, Villena, Alcoi, Elche, Gata de Gorgos; all set in the most beautiful and charming landscapes of the Spanish Mediterranean, which are full of contrasts between valleys and mountainous areas, historic traces of different civilizations, and a gastronomic, artisan and festive tradition that is unique in the world.

The contrast between small inland villages and the famous tourist areas with an intense night life, make it one of the most attractive tourist and residential destinations in Europe where to enjoy the sun and the beach in direct contact with nature.  All this coupled with an exhaustive tourism infrastructure that includes two airports, new roads, railway, good communications and a modern network of roads that connect the main coastal areas with the inland towns and cities.

There are thousands of leisure options, such as the theme parks of Terra Mítica, Aqualandia, Mundomar, Terra Natura, and endless popular and traditional fiestas, sports, sailing club, golf, paddle, diving, hiking trails, cycling routes as well as excellent quality services, making it an ideal place to spend your holidays or to establish your second residence.
